WHAT THE HELPER CHANGES

The helper speeds up the local part of the work. It does not turn a sensitive phone setup into an unattended process.
Checks downloads
GrapheneOS release signatures and catalog hashes are checked before installation. A mismatch stops the process.

You approve bootloader prompts and choose hardening options. Installation erases the phone, so back up first.
